At the request of local authorities, IRRV is again running this workshop to give attendees an in-depth overview of Universal Credit and the detail that local authority, housing association and other key staff require to know. It is fully updated to ensure the latest UC information is included.
Aim
The workshop is ideally suited to staff who are required to have a better understanding of Universal Credit. It is also suited to the wider benefits and welfare sector involved in assisting or advising those who have, or need, to claim Universal Credit.
The day is designed to be interactive and promotes sharing of knowledge and best practice. Timings are indicative and are subject to change on the day.
The course will be facilitated by Paula Doherty. Paula is a leading benefits practitioner and a member of the IRRV Scottish Association Executive.
Paula is also Chair of the IRRV Welfare Reform Consortium.
The workshop represents excellent value for money, with seminar fees starting at only £125 + VAT. This includes lunch, refreshments, and training materials.
As places are limited, early booking is recommended. The IRRV regrets that, under normal circumstances, delegate fees cannot be refunded. However, delegate substitutions may be made at no cost at any time prior to the Seminar, subject to these being notified to the Institute.
SPECIAL OFFER
Every fourth place from the same organisation booked for this course (and made in the same booking) is entirely free of charge. Please note that, due to the demand for places, this offer applies only to the course detailed in this brochure and applies to the lowest cost place.
