Course background

This course will introduce you to the various insolvency processes available in Scotland.

Whether the debtor is an individual or company; choosing to enter insolvency or being forced into formal insolvency by a creditor, it will look at the impact of insolvency; the effects of the procedures and the differences between them.

Specifically it will look at the impact of formal insolvency on local government claims and what you can expect from dealing with an Insolvency Practitioner in practice.
