IRRV in Scotland is delighted to announce this important workshop.
Valid for IRRV CPD Points
We are again working in partnership with John Giblin to deliver this workshop that looks at messy problem solving, solution finding, option appraisal and delivering a business case. The theme and focus of the day will be very much around the current and growing problem of rapidly rising debt and the challenges of maximising recovery before UC migration.
More generally the workshop recognises that even the best plans may go awry. And set very much within a revenues and benefits context, the day provides a practical introduction into:
Many of you will have attended John’s workshops before. Over the last 10 years he has delivered more than 60 workshops for IRRV and more than 95% of the delegates have rated them as very good or excellent.
For this particular workshop John will showcase his work with many councils across the UK, carrying out debt management health-checks and improving massively revenue collection.
As well as instructor led sessions on the above the day will have a good number of interactive sessions and syndicate exercises.
Finally, there will be some syndicate work to discuss how and when the learning from the day can be introduced back at the office.
The day will begin with coffee and registration at 9.30am and will conclude around 3.30pm to 3.45pm.
Example Case Study Topic from the day : Optimising overpayment recovery with Universal Credit on the horizon:
